- What is Chorish Plus?
Chorish is free to download. Chorish Plus is an optional one-time upgrade inside the app for bigger households, full rewards, and extra polish — no subscription.
- How do I get started with Chorish?
Create your first home, add members, and add chores in a few taps. No sign-up required!
- How do I create a home?
Create a home in three steps: name it and you, add up to 5 members, then you're all set. No account needed.
Chores & Tasks
- How do I add or edit chores?
Add chores from the dashboard, the Chores tab, or Manage Tasks. Edit names and remove chores when you need to.
- How do I mark a chore done (or undo it)?
Complete a chore by selecting your avatar then tapping the chore, or via the chore panel. Uncomplete by tapping your avatar on the chore tile. Owner can clear a member's completions.
- How do I assign or unassign chores?
Assign members to chores from Manage Tasks, clear assignees per chore or reset all assignments—and understand how assignments differ from completions.

Use Chore roulette to pick something to finish, or to assign an open chore to one or more members.

Home & Members
- How do I add or remove members?
Owner adds or removes members from Manage → Members. Members can change their avatar and claim rewards from their Details panel.
- What does the member tile show?
Understand points, completed chores, assigned chores, Choreboard leader badges, certificates, and progress shown on each member tile.
- What is the Details dialog and how do I open it?
The Details panel shows a member's avatar, points, chore wins, and rewards. The owner's Details also has management shortcuts.
Technical
- How do I export or back up my data?
Export your home data from Manage → Export, and import it again when creating a new home or moving from chorish.com.
- I already paid for Chorish before it was free. Do I pay again?
No. If you bought Chorish on the App Store before it became free, you keep full access on the same Apple ID — restore via Unlock in the app.
- The app won't open or keeps closing
